Hooray we have a great house! It's a big old Californian bungalow with a huge back garden with studio space for the Lady of the House; a shed for Himself and space galore for the Wee Ones, the chickens, bees, 4 leggeds and veges. There is a big, sunny Nona's kitchen and a daggy 70's bathroom. Tis the urban farmers' dream. Very happy.

Painting another two Matryoshkas. A lovely thing to do. I will post more photos when finished. Thinking of an Etsy shop too....

Dad and Barb got hitched last Monday. My brother and I flew to the West and drove down south to the family ranch listening to music and talking about things we never seem to have time to talk about even though we live 4 km away from each other. So good it was. And so very joyful a wedding - our father and his bride - laughing and canoodling and sharing the love. Our little family is blossoming in ways I never imagined it would, over there and here at home. And what a beautiful thing that is.

The weeks go by

My computer has been ever so slow, hence, over the last month, I've managed to upload these few photos bit by bit....

One more move afoot - merging families, and looking forward to it greatly, to hunkering down for the winter - for a good long while we hope!
