knitting going well, LOVE it. Currently knitting scarves for whole family, maybe even friends too, if they're good. Bought lush wool for friends' next bubba - booties, maybe a jacket if I graduate in time from scarves. Aren't wooden/bamboo knitting needles fantastic. I bought 4 pairs from Camberwell. Will post pics of works in progress - have yet to buy a wool needle to tidy up. And still 396 knitting stitches to try.......

Be careful with the bamboo needles a friend of mine knitted a jumper for he little one on bamboo needles but found they caused an unevenness in the stitch that really detracted from the work. She frogged it and started it over. Only taking her a few hours. For me this would be a disaster, being a considerably slower knitter.
And yes motherhood is the best job ever reading about Beau makes me nostalgic. The time flies. My baby girl turned 15 in the last fortnight! My boy is 16 and a half! And they still bring me an enormous amount of joy.
